   NEW TRIPLEX TINTED WINDSHIELD
Fits Series 2 and 3  2+2 and Coup with
                Extended Body Length*

This is a brand new OEM windshield, manufactured in England.
It has tinted glass and is in perfect condition.

* Series 2 Coups and 2+2's from approximately 1969 on were
being prepared for the V-12 engine.  These were stretched in
length, resulting in a longer windshield.  Series 3 continued to
use the same windshield and Coup was discontinued.
The center height of the windshield was increased from 19.4
   (prior to 1969 2+2) to 22.75 (later 2+2).
Also, this will fit cars where the distance from the bottom of
the windshield to the hood (bonnet) opening is about 1 inch.
this has been reduced from 4 inches increasing the engine
    compartment length.
    Please see second photo, above.

It is located on Long Island, New York.  It would make sense for
the buyer to pick up, as it is not crated.
However, we could crate and package it for shipping by Freight
Carrier at additional cost + insurance although it is not recommended.

Toll road plans 'to be scrapped'

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

CONTROVERSIAL plans to create the UK's first toll road for a decade are to be dropped, it was reported. Improvements to the A14 will instead be paid for by the Government, the Financial Times said. The proposed toll is part of a scheme to widen and improve a heavily congested 25-mile stretch in East Anglia which carries traffic from the port of Felixstowe to the Midlands.

Car Scrappage Scheme – Darling wastes the chance – Just like that!

Wed, 22 Apr 2009

Darling wastes an opportunity with a half-hearted car scrappage scheme [ad#ad-1] The Car Scrappage Scheme had problems as a concept. But it was a way to help shift more cars (but without a change in underwriting policy it’s debatable how many would sell). And at £2,000 a go it was a reasonable incentive to buy.

NASCAR's sexy French past

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

In the post-Jean Girard era, your stereotypical NASCAR fan probably doesn't spend too much time thinking about France. Unless it's Bill France Sr., Bill France Jr., or Jim France, or Brian France, or Amy France. Ok, so NASCAR fans might actually think about Frances fairly often, but probably not the French Republic.
