This shift lever pivot kit consists of the following 11 parts:

2 x C1915 rubber bushes holding the shift lever in the housing

2 x C1894 thrust washers

1 x C1905 coil washer

1 x C1906 bush on selector lever

1 x C1907 bush for pivot jaw

2 x C1908 shifter washers

1 x C1914 special thin locking washer

1 x C1929 spring washer


This kit usually will get rid of all the extra play you had in the shift lever that got worse over the years !

At least that's what German tuner Manhart is betting on in unveiling their MH6 700 version of the M6 hardtop. Manhart has been tuning BMWs and only BMWs for 20 years, and they've worked on everything from the E30 3-series to the latest offerings from the Bavarian automaker.

Ford F-150: Diesel model is delayed

A diesel engine for the Ford F-150 light-duty pickup is looking dicey. Ford had said it would sell a diesel F-150 beginning in 2010. Last spring, dealers were shown a 4.4-liter V-8 diesel said to deliver more power and torque than the F-150's 5.4-liter gasoline V-8 and offer a 20 percent fuel savings.
