Nissan Reverse Engineers The Humble Rear View Mirror

IF YOU struggle to reverse your car and fret about not being able to see the full picture, your next purchase might be a Nissan. Taking the humble rear view mirror to the next level, the Japanese car maker has unveiled a hi-tech alternative. In combination with a rear-facing camera, Nissan has devised a new LCD monitor to fit within the space of a regular rear view mirror.

New Ford C-Max revealed

Ford has released first details of the new C-Max which will debut at Frankfurt Ford has released some detail of the new C-Max, which is the first car from Ford to use the next generation Ford Focus platform, and will come as either a five or seven seat car. Not only will the new C-Segment platform be used here in the C-Max, but it will also see use in not just the next generation Focus, but also in the eventual replacement for the Ford Kuga. The C-Max will very sensibly stick with the multi-link rear suspension that has given the current generation Focus such great driving dynamics, and it will also feature Ford’s 1.6 litre Ecoboost engine, which is equipped with a turbo and direct injection for improved economy and efficiency.

The Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept is the polar opposite to the Code 130R, with a front-wheel drive platform and cab-forward proportion, which Chevrolet believes translates into an ‘affordable exotic' image. Both concepts were designed as a result of the same research program. Externally, the 140S adopts the family grille and bow-tie graphics up front and quad rear lamps.
