Brand:Hydrohoist

The HydroHoist Side-Tie "B" provides mooring for powerboats and sailboats in floating or fixed docks. Floating walkways on each side offer a guide for the boat when down, a step out of the boat when moored, and a step into the boat when the boat and lift are fully raised. This lift has four tanks and a capacity of 10,000 lbs.

This lift was purchased directly from Hydrohoist in ~ 2001. I added the two inside tanks in ~ 2007.  The port main tank was replaced in ~ 2009.  It was a repaired tank, purchased again from Hydrohoist for $1,500.

I thought this lift with second tanks was rated for 7,500 but upon further review it appears it will hold 10,000 lbs.  I know my current boat weighs ~ 6,750 loaded and this lift worked very well with plenty of excess.

I also fabricated a mount on the port floating section to hold the controls. This is nice if you move the float as you do not have to disconnect anything.  It also keeps the controls within easy access to the boat - I often lowered and raised the boat without getting out of the boat.

The lift is currently fully assembled but I can assist in partial disassembly and have access to a lift truck to load it on a trailer.

Dimensions:  23' x 12.5' fully assembled.  Note the dock bracket will extend the flow ~ 10 inches from the dock.
