Mercedes drop SL65 – the end of the Mercedes V12?
Mon, 01 Aug 20112012 Mercedes SL - will have to live without the V12 We haven’t exactly had a glut of stories on the Merceds SL of late. In fact the last story appears to have been a spy shot of the 2012 SL back at the end of 2010. But that’s because the current SL is far from cutting edge and no longer the halo of the Mercedes range.
Mercedes CLA Detroit debut & CLA45 AMG at Frankfurt 2013
Thu, 22 Nov 2012It looks like 2013 will be the year of the new baby CLS at Mercedes, with the regular Mercedes CLA debuting at Detroit in January and the CLA45 AMG at Frankfurt 2013. The next instalment of A-Class goodness will be the arrival of the ‘Baby CLS’ – the Mercedes CLA – which sets out to emulate the CLS with a swoopy coupe design expected to change little from the impressive Mercedes Concept Style Coupe we saw at the Beijing Motor Show in April. And if the new CLA looks just like the Style Concept then Mercedes will almost certainly have another hugely successful model in the A-Class range to bolster sales towards its aim of 2.6 million Mercedes sales a year by 2020.
2015 Subaru WRX and STI prices revealed
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Subaru enthusiasts will be able to get into a 2015 WRX starting at a base price of $27,090, including destination, for the standard six-speed manual model. That's a bit more than the 2014 model, which started at $26,790, but with Subaru’s entirely new platform, we’d like to think the extra $300 is worth it. This 2015 WRX will sport a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo flat-four engine under the hood, making 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
