WOLO OUTER LIMITS

GEN 3

MAGNET MOUNT

MODEL 3770M-A

Used has some minor scratches on lens

Wolo’s new low profile LED mini bar light, OUTER LIMITS, has a unique aerodynamic appearance that will look great on any vehicle.  Using the latest GEN III LED technology, OUTER LIMITS produces an ultra powerful beam of light, which can even be seen in bright daylight.  There are six GEN III modules, each containing four 1-watt LEDs, which are long life, maintenance free, and best of all, there are no bulbs to burn out.  OUTER LIMITS microprocessor allows the user to select from eight different light patterns with the simple touch of a button.  The control panel can be mounted on the vehicle’s dashboard or consol using the double face tape provided.   The easy to use control panel has an on/off switch, mode pattern selector, and two mini-LEDs that indicate the light pattern in use.  Comes complete with a 10 ft. heavy gauge power cord and a cigarette lighter plug with an internal fuse.  The four magnets have adjustable positioning and are rubber covered to prevent scratching the vehicle’s paint, while holding the mini light bar securely in place.  Designed to be waterproof for all weather conditions.  OUTER LIMITS is ideal for those who require a simple to use, low profile mini bar light with a high intensity output, and low power consumption.

Electroluminescent Lumilor coating transforms any surface into a lamp

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

Thanks to advances in LED and lasers, an emphasis on lamp design is a rapidly growing trend. But what if any or all of a car's surfaces, inside or out, could become lamps at the flick of a switch? That question has been partially answered by Darkside Scientific.

70% of premium brand cars stolen are taken with the car’s own keys

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

High-end SUVs – like the new Range Rover (pictured) are a prime target for car key thieves There was once a time when all it took to steal a car was a wire coathanger and the ability to hotwire the ignition. But as car makers have got better at securing the second most expensive asset most of us will ever own, car thieves have had to look for a different approach, and that approach is increasingly to relieve owners of the keys to their pride and joy. Cobra – the vehicle tracking firm – are reporting that a massive 70 per cent of all premium brand cars stolen in 2014 – with an average value of £40k, up £6k on 2012 – are being parted from their owners using that owners keys.

Goodwood FoS: Peugeot EX1 concept

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

It's not very often that I'm up at six o'clock on a Saturday morning. Yet here I am, threading through the narrow lanes of West Sussex, trying to meet a ridiculously early call time with Peugeot at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Couple this with the adrenalin coursing through my veins – brought on by the excitement of finally getting a ride up the drive in front of Goodwood's house, home each year to the Festival of Speed – and there's no need for any coffee to wake me up this morning.
