For sale are many new high quality parts produced by Franklin Aircraft Engines, Inc for their STC SA 293NW to install the Franklin 220 in Cessna 172's.  These parts would be great as spares for someone who has already converted their Cessna since spares would be very hard to get! They also might be very good for a homebuilder who is installing a 6 cylinder engine. The exhaust manifolds would be easy to convert. The carb intake box should bolt onto most carburetors or bendix injection throttle bodies. The exhaust is all stainless steel including the heat shrouds and is heavy duty. Includes an oil cooler and duct, induction filter and adapter.
These parts cost thousands  of $ new but you can really save some money by buying these.

Ferrari 458 Italia Revealed

Tue, 28 Jul 2009

The first pictures of the new Ferrari 458 Italia These are the first pictures of Ferrari’s 458 Italia, released this morning ahead of the official reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Clearly showing influences from the Enzo and the Mille Chille Concept car, the F430 replacement will undoubtedly go upmarket in terms of price to differentiate it from Ferrari’s entry-level car, the Ferrari California. Featuring a new, 4.5 litre V8 (hence the name – 458) , Ferrari claim the new engine has the highest specific output of any normally aspirated road-car engine, which is a hard claim to dispute as it produces 127bhp per litre.  It produces 562bhp at 9000 rpm, making it the highest revving Ferrari engine to date.
