Reproduction gas tank sender float.

Manufactured by Stewart Warner.

For all 49-72 Ford, Mercury & Lincoln models.

The bad news is this...the stuff they put in gas will eat through ANY float, brass or plastic.

The good news is this...these floats are a solid design and will last a long time,

and won't sink from that 1st pinhole that plagues standard hollow type floats.

Outside diameter 1 3/8" diameter, 1 5/64" where it clips on to arm, 2" long

Note: Original 49-56 senders use a larger diameter float,  though most of the

reproduction senders use this size. Original 57 and up senders use this size float,

but some reproduction senders actually use a float that is smaller where it clips on.

So, your sender arm may have to be modified to use this float.

Best to check your existing float before ordering......or whats left of it.

Caterham Seven Supersport (2011) first official pictures

Mon, 11 Apr 2011

This is the new Caterham Seven Supersport, a new roadster that offers track-biased fun for less than £20k. The Seven shape is familiar, but Caterham has pinched parts from its Supersport race series cars (which sit above the Academy and Roadsport classes, but below the Superlight and forthcoming SP/300R) to create this new Supersport model.  Is the new Caterham Seven Supersport road car exactly the same as the race car? Not quite, but the pair are similar.

McLaren 12C Can-Am at Pebble Beach

Wed, 15 Aug 2012

A (currently) one-off McLaren MP4-12C – the McLaren 12C Can-Am – is heading for Pebble Beach, previewing a track-day MP4-12C. The McLaren MP4-12C is a one-off track-focused MP4-12C, developed by the same McLaren GT team which developed the MP4-12C GT3 race car, and its heading for Pebble Beach this month to tempt US track-day enthusiasts. Developed without the constraints of a racing series, the 12C Can-Am is based on the GT3 car and adds a new aerodynamic package – which improves downforce by 30 per cent – with a carbon fibre splitter with little winglets atop, a huge rear tray of a spoiler and a carbon fibre diffuser.

Saab ends deal with Chinese investors

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Saab owner Swedish Automobile scrapped a $340 million investment deal with Chinese automotive companies Zhejiang Youngman Lotus and Pang Da after they proposed a buyout, straying from the original deal. Youngman and Pang Da signed a nonbinding agreement in July to take a combined 53.9 percent stake in Swedish Automobile. The Chinese companies say circumstances have changed since that time, so the deal should too.
