2014 Toyota RAV4 gets more equipment and a lower price

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

2014 Toyota RAV4 (pictured) gets more equipment and a lower price Toyota like to think of the RAV4 as the originator of the compact SUV, and as it’s been around for two decades and is in its fourth iteration, they probably have a point. But being the first doesn’t guarantee continued success; that comes from still being relevant and keeping up with the ever growing competition in the market place. So Toyota are giving the RAV4 a bit of a makeover for 2014 – not quite a facelift, more an upgrade – with additional equipment across the range and a price drop too.

‘Lamborghini’ Ferruccio (2008) first official pictures

Tue, 01 Apr 2008

By Mike Elwin First Official Pictures 01 April 2008 10:57 This is the Lamborghini that never was: the stillborn Ferruccio project that has just been put on ice owing to a lack of orders. Designed by Italian coachbuilder Magvisio, the Ferruccio was a rebodied Murcielago LP640 and would have been faster than any current car wearing the Lamborghini badge, with a claimed top speed of 230mph. Although not an official Lamborghini project, Sant'Agata was monitoring the scheme ‘with interest’, according to its creators.Magvisio specialises in customisation jobs for private clients, and the Ferruccio was to be its first stab at designing a car from the ground up.

Lexus LF-Xh concept (2007): first official pictures

Thu, 11 Oct 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 October 2007 09:50 Lexus LF-Xh Concept: the lowdown Lexus will show off its latest wares on home territory at this month's 40th Tokyo Motor Show - and the big news is a preview of the next-generation RX soft-roader. The LF-Xh is longer and wider than today's car, but a full 40mm lower - suggesting the Japanese are taking cars like the forthcoming half 4x4, half coupe BMW X6 very seriously. Naturally, the next RX will build upon today's RX400h hybrid.
