Sun Valley, California, United States

A Ferrari 308 GTS 1981 chassis with a VIN number still attached. Fiberglass 288 GTO body kit parts are as shown in photos. The frame rails are straight and rust free except for minor surface rust and this would make a great racecar or restoration. The Stock steel doors with latches and fiberglass 288 GTO door skins are included, as well as roof, hatch back, rear fenders. Lower American stock front fairing and Euro grill. Two gas tanks from '79 included. Windshield a-pillar assembly has minor fire damage and is not attached, as are none of the body panels or doors shown in photos permanently attached. Photos with body panels are mock-ups only. No sale of title is implied and this is sold only as parts. Again, this 1981 Ferrari GTS rolling chassis and body panels are being sold as parts only, with no sale of title implied. The vin number is F106AB27717 and is owned by me and I will provide a bill of sale for the parts. In other words, I will sign ownership of the chassis parts, upon full payment. Control arms were sand blasted and epoxy primed. It is sold as is and is a potential racecar, mod or a restoration. Put a Ferrari under your Christmas tree. There are no rear calipers, but the rest of the suspension and brakes are complete. It steers and includes 3 stock wheels and one spare tire rim from Volvo. Please use the pictures to describe the condition. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Buyer is responsible for all shipping involved. I cannot weigh the chassis, and this will be the responsibility of the buyer to make arrangements, which I will follow directions of. Thank you. You are in charge of setting up the shipping and I will help however I can. Please arrange for pick-up and payment within three days of sale.

Mon, 09 May 2011

Here's a sweet deal: Help find a black 1962 Chevrolet Corvette stolen from celebrity pastry chef Duff Goldman, and he'll give you a lifetime supply of birthday cakes. Goldman, star of Ace of Cakes on the Food Network, says the Vette was boosted from his brother's driveway in Sherman Oaks, Calif., last week while he was out of town for work. "I'm pretty sure I'll never get my car back," Goldman told the Los Angeles Times, "so I hope whoever has it loves it as much as I do, drives it as fast as I did and plays the radio as loud as I did.

Kia four-door sports sedan concept

Fri, 19 Aug 2011

Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' The press release talks of it as 'signalling a distinctive new design direction' for the Korean brand, yet the now-familiar 'tiger-nose' grille and Optima-esque A-pillar/cant rail/C-pillar highlight are very much in evidence. "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter." We'll bring you full details (and hopefully a name) from IAA next month. Photo gallery: Kia four-door sports sedan concept
