I have a used Escort Passport 9500ci radar detector / laser scrambler for sale . I bought this about 2 years ago, and made great use of this while driving all over the place, but my car no longer runs so I am parting out everything .

I paid $1999 for this a couple years back , and I see these are still selling new on the internet for the same price today , so whoever is looking for something like this will be getting a great deal . The system works perfectly .

I do still have the original box and packaging . Here are the specific details directly from the Escort owners manual :

The GPS-powered PASSPORT 9500ci is the most advanced custom-installed radar and laser defense system ever designed. The 9500ci includes full X, K, SuperWide Ka, and Safety Warning System radar capability, front and rear laser detection with optional Laser Shifting, digital signal processing (DSP) for superior range, our patented Mute and AutoMute and all the performance that only ESCORT can deliver.

Aston Martin & Mercedes join forces

Wed, 30 Mar 2011

Aston Martin Production will soon see an injection of Mercedes DNA This isn’t the first time we’ve talked about a partnership between Aston Martin and Mercedes, but according to Car & Driver it’s now just about a done deal. As long ago as March 2009 we reported that Mercedes supplied the basis for the Lagonda SUV Concept (a Mercedes GL), and six months later we reported that Aston Martin were working on a Mercedes S-Class based Lagonda saloon. More recently we reported that the GL-based Lagonda SUV was back on and that Mercedes wanted Aston Martin to put together the next generation of Maybach.

A heavy key chain may deactivate the airbags in your Chevy Cobalt or Pontiac G5

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

GM is recalling 788,000 Cobalt and Pontiac G5 sedans for a potentially deadly problem with the ignition system. When the vehicles' keys are connected to heavy key chains (or, say, key rings laden with a dozen extra keys), a sufficiently extreme jolt or impact could shift the ignition out of the "run" position and into the "off" position. Cuts electrical power to the vehicles' systems, in turn deactivating the airbags.

Audi A3 Saloon teased – or could it be the Audi Q6?

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Audi are teasing a new reveal for the 2013 New York Auto Show which we think in the new A3 saloon. But could it actually be the Q6 instead? We had a preview of the Audi A3 saloon as long ago as the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 and it now looks like Audi are teasing a reveal of the A3 with a boot for the 2013 New York Auto Show next week.
