Engine, Motor, Transmission, Clutch, Cylinder, Head - 1976 1977 1978 Honda XL125

Serial number 125E -1111342.

It is a 124 cc motor so that means post 1975.  I cannot pinpoint the year.

This is a pretty clean solid looking engine.  It came to me on its own with other vintage XL parts.

I am going to clean it up and put up new photos so it will sell fast once I do that as it is very clean under the grime.

So I do not know its history, I have never heard it run, don't know the mileage, etc.

It kicks over and has some at least reasonable compression.   Kick lever not included, it is not OEM and will be removed.

The the transmission ticks through the gears, but again, the transmission is not guaranteed.

The motor appears to be pretty clean and not too beat up.

It is missing the sprocket cover and the main wiring end plug is gone.

It is SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS OR REBUILD.

The anticipated ’hot’ Hyundai i30 looks like it’s arriving at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the turbo engine from the Veloster. Now Autoblog in Spain are reporting that a Hyundai i30 RS (or i30 R or i30 GT or i30…) will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a prelude to a 2014 launch.

2014 Beijing Motor Show: weird and wonderful Chinese cars

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

The Chinese auto industry might not be the most important in the world yet, but it’s getting there. It’s already the top market for a large number of top-tier brands like Mercedes-Benz, and the industry has progressed to the point where companies including Nissan are setting up brands specifically to cater to the needs of Chinese buyers. But as far as Chinese brands go, things are very much a work in progress.
