China's Geely is to enter the UK car market in 2012 Chinese car maker Geely is to start selling cars in the UK in 2012, with Manganese Bronze (London Black Cabs) handling distribution. We reported recently that the Geely Emgrand EC7 and the MG6 – both made in China – has achieved a four star rating in the latest round of Euro NCAP safety test. The system uses integral sensors to check how the driver is setting the car up for the corner and adjusts the settings if the driver is not getting it right. It can correct over or under steer by applying braking to any of the wheels individually and even adjust the torque to make sure the car goes where the driver intends.
