Wed, 28 Oct 2009The new BMW 5-series being launched this winter is likely to be the next BMW to receive the ActiveHybrid system pioneered on the petrol-electric 7-series and X6 models. BMW engineers admit they can't rely on sales of the pricey hybrid 7-series and X6 to justify the development costs, even though these range-topping halo hybrids were jointly developed with Daimler and GM. Senior sources have indicated that the new 2010 5-series will be the next BMW to get an ActiveHybrid model.

But one of the most stupid, head-in-the-sand policies was the idea that new houses should encourage people to forsake their cars by making garages too small and off-street parking almost non-existent.
'Bloody cyclists' driver convicted
Tue, 19 Nov 2013A MOTORIST from Norfolk who tweeted about "bloody cyclists" after a collision described the post as "my biggest regret" as she was convicted of driving offences. Former trainee accountant Emma Way, 22, from Watton, was found guilty at Norwich Magistrates' Court of failing to stop after a collision and failing to report an accident. She was cleared of driving without due care and attention.
