This was from a restoration that I completed a couple of years ago. This set of gauges was from the parts car; but the original car I was working with had a fully functional gauge cluster and therefore this was not used. I pulled this out of the parts car before selling the body. When I bought the parts car, the seller informed me that the gauge cluster was fully functional; being that I bought the parts car without an engine, I was unable to check each of the gauges, but I assume they should be working. Toyota begins testing wireless recharging for electric cars

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

Toyota has announced that it will begin actual verification testing of its new wireless battery charging system for electric vehicles, one which charges the battery of a plug-in hybrid or a pure-electric car by having the car park over it. Toyota's charging system uses magnetic-resonance technology, which operates by transmitting electricity by using the magnetic resonance resulting from changes in magnentic field intensity between a coil positioned under the car, and a receiving coil built into the underside of the vehicle. This system eliminates the need for physically plugging in an electric car or a hybrid to an actual plug, and also has the potential to solve the problem of multiple types of actual plugs.

But at the time, many enthusiasts were more than a bit upset that 80 years of Pontiac--once the third-best-selling brand in the United States--was set for the scrap yard.

What a result.
