 JetLine Premium Butane
13 Ounce/330 ML Cans
Five Times Refined 5X

This is the best butane on the market!
Please be careful with some of the junk out there, not all butane is the same!
You don't want to clog up your expensive soldering irons and torches with cheap fuel!

There are many different brands of butane out there and several different sizes of cans.  It can be complicated and confusing to know which one is the best quality and the best value for you to purchase.

For most lighters and tools such as small torches and soldering irons, it's extremely important to use a minimum of 4 times refined butane, 5 times is even better.  One way to look at it is to compare your device to the fuel injectors on your vehicle.  If your fuel is dirty enough that your fuel filters can't remove everything, you could have some serious problems that could even prevent your engine from running.  It can be a similar problem with butane for a tool or lighter.  If it's dirty and unrefined, it could clog jets, valves, and diffusers.  For these reasons, it is also important to go with a product from a company that you can trust.  There are lots of other brands of butane on ebay, some are horrible and some are okay, but JetLine is the only one that I trust and use personally with my lighters and tools.  If you take care of things, they will definitely last longer.

The cans of JetLine Butane that I have listed here are 13 ounces.  There are many other cans of butane out there from other companies that are roughly the same size.  However, most of them only have 5-7 ounces of fuel inside.  Just like the tank on your car, you can go to the gas station and pump 5 gallons into your tank or you can fill it up.

SHIPPING OF BUTANE: I don't sell more than two cans of butane at a time on ebay because it would cost to much to ship legally.  Two cans of JetLine Butane is 26 ounces.
With the U.S.P.S, it's illegal to ship more than 33.8 fluid ounces of flammable gas per mailpiece and it has to be shipped on the ground only.  In order to ship larger quantities, you must use specially certified boxes, pay hazmat fees, and pay for hazmat shipping.  There are several sellers on ebay that are ignoring this.  I am not willing to endanger others and break federal laws just to make a few dollars on ebay.

From the United States Postal Service website:

342.22 Mailable Gases

The following are examples of mailable gases:

Butane gases that can qualify as ORM–D materials are acceptable only in domestic mail via surface transportation when properly prepared under 342.3 and Packaging Instruction 2A in Appendix C.

Also, look at paragraph C below:

342.3 Packaging

Mailable compressed gases must be packaged to protect valves and fittings and to ensure integrity of the primary receptacle during transport. Containers must use recessed valves, screw thread caps, tap closures, or other means to prevent accidental discharge.

The following conditions apply:

  1. Nonmetal Containers. A mailable gas is acceptable in an other–than–metal primary receptacle if the water capacity is 4 fluid ounces (7.22 cubic inches) or less. Packaging Instruction 2A or 2B, as applicable, must be followed.
  2. Metal Containers. Mailable nonflammable and flammable compressed gases are acceptable in metal primary receptacles that have a water capacity up to 33.8 fluid ounces (1 liter or 61.0 cubic inches). The liquid content of the material and the gas must not completely fill the primary receptacle at 130° F (55° C). Additionally, the following apply:
    1. A DOT 2P container must be used if the internal pressure is from 140 psig to 160 psig at 130° F (55° C).

    3. A container with an internal pressure over 180 psig at 130° F (55° C) is prohibited from mailing.
    4. Packaging Instruction 2A or 2B, as applicable, must be followed.

Toyota & Lexus open eBay Stores for parts and accessories

Thu, 28 Nov 2013

Toyota & Lexus open eBay Stores for parts and accessories Toyota has taken both the Toyota and Lexus brand in to the world’s biggest marketplace – eBay – with new Lexus and Toyota stores designed to supply genuine parts and accessories to a wider audience. Toyota say that the new eBay Stores are designed to complement the existing dealer network supply of parts and accessories, and the prices charged will be the same as a dealer. What the eBay stores will do, however, is offer parts and accessories for older Toyota and Lexus cars – up to eight years old – which Toyota say will reach a wider audience than their dealers manage.

Well, if you're spy photographer Brenda Priddy, it's because you're hunting Rabbits, and sports cars, and SUVs and occassionally minivans. Priddy, whose work appears here at autoweek.com and in AutoWeek magazine as well as in our sister publication Automotive News and other outlets, took a turn in front of the lens recently.
