Some of the things we sell are new, some of the things we sell are pre-owned. All items are usually washed and cleaned when we ship them out. Some books may have writing or dog ears. We try and describe items as best as we can. We have a no return, no refund policy. We do combine shipping Things are sold AS IS. We would like to make every transaction a perfect one, so please ask questions. A note about shipping: Media Mail is cheapest but SLOWEST. This service by the US Post Office is great because it is very economical but the customer has to be patient with delivery time. Delivery time has varied greatly of late. Shipment deliveries will rage from 4 days to 17 days and unfortunately there does not seem to be much consistency to delivery schedules. The US Post Office holds onto these cheaper rate packages until they get a full cargo load then they ship them out to the next Postal facility. If you want a faster delivery I can provide it but it will cost substantially more – of course, the price depends on the weight of the shipment and the distance to destination.
When payments are received, items are shipped either that day or the next. Please submit payment within 2 days, as we may file a non paying bidder dispute. Thank you for your business and have a wonderful day!!

Whiplash claim legal costs rising

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

GOVERNMENT attempts to reduce legal costs from whiplash injury claims seem to be failing. The average legal costs for small, whiplash-like third party injury (TPI) claims now stand at £2,500 per claimant, according to a report by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. The institute said this was a 15% increase since 2010 "when the Ministry of Justice introduced new measures which sought, in part, to contain legal costs".

Mercedes Vito London Taxi comes out fighting

Tue, 07 Aug 2012

Mercedes has come out fighting against the Nissan NV200 London Taxi with an assertion of the benefits of the Mercedes Vito Taxi. Yesterday we had the news that Nissan, not content with just undermining the Crown Victoria as the NYC Yellow Cab, have turned their attention  to the London Taxi with their NV200 take on the Black Cab. So far, LTI hasn’t responded to the imminent threat to their business from Nissan (but then they still haven’t really reacted to Mercedes entry in to the market), but Mercedes has, coming out fighting this morning with a press release extolling the virtues of the Vito Taxi.

Bentley Continental GT3-R (2014) first official pics

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 17 June 2014 12:00 The Bentley Continental GT3-R is the fastest accelerating Bentley ever built. It’s a road-gong version of the car that stormed to victory at Silverstone last month, the Continental GT3, and ticks off 0-62mph in 3.8sec: this is some grand tourer The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that’s just been introduced into the Flying Spur saloon has been wound up to a heady 572bhp, with a stonking 516lb ft combining to make this svelte coupe the fastest accelerating Bentley production car ever built, and a whopping 0.8sec better than the V8 S model. The GT3-R is not the fastest Bentley, though, with its top-end only 170mph (virtually walking pace, really), but the eight-speed ZF gearbox and final drive have been tuned to make this car a corner carver, as opposed to a top-end tourer.
