Blendmount Radar Detector Mount C6 Vette Valentine One on 2040-parts.com
Madison, Alabama, United States
This is an wonderfully made machined 6061-T6 aluminum bracket that attached to C6 Corvette (2005-2013) rear view mirrors to hold a Valentine One Radar detector. IT IS FOR THE AUTO DIMMING MIRROR ONLY. It is from the ID-CHE-006 Specialty series, the model is BV1-2006. The picture under the mirror is from the new mount made for the C7 (I know its a bad picture, mobile phone at night) but it does offer adjustment for different height drivers. You can buy a cable to plug into your mirror wire harness from Blendmount and the detector comes on as soon as you start the car. IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE POWER CABLE! I used it on the new Corvette. I had it in the car for 1.5 years and it never came loose. This is one nice design that will hold up to 1g turns! Original price was $129, but you won't have to spend that much. Happy bidding!

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive: BMW’s Automotive Information Future
Thu, 03 Mar 2011BMW Vision ConnectedDrive at Geneva When the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive first crossed our path we did wonder if it would be a concept version of a small BMW Roadster, A sub Z4. A BMW Z2, perhaps. But it soon became clear that even if the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive did point towards a new BMW Roadster, is was far more about showing how BMW are trying to communicate an ever increasing amount of information to the driver.
There's a 2015 Ford Mustang convertible on the way, too
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Almost immediately after the Ford Mustang debuted, buyers could choose from three body styles -- a hardtop, a rag-top convertible and a fastback (which actually came out a few months later than the hardtop and convertible). We already knew that the 2015 Mustang will arrive as a fastback (sorry, notchback partisans), but Ford has just announced that a drop-top version is also in the works. Pictures of the convertible sport a shiny "5.0" badge on the side and and chrome "GT" badge on the back, but we assume all the standard engines -- the 5.0-liter V8, 3.7-liter V6 and that new 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four -- will be offered.
