Manufacturer Part Number:Autohelm AH800 AH 800 Tiller Autopilot Brand:Autohelm AH800 Tiller Autopilot Tillerpilot

This Autohelm AH800 TILLER AUTOPILOT is has been lightly used, and remains in great condition. Was used with a 27' Sailboat by an owner who , remembering what he paid for it, couldn't bear to "Give it up with the Ship".
Designed for Tiller use, on boats up to about 30' in length- Just requires a simple two wire hookup, mounting a pin in the tiller for the actuating arm to engage and providing a mounting hole in the cockpit or lazarrete for the bronze base bushing to fit into.  Tiller pin and Bronze Base Bushing are included. Can be mounted in minutes.  There are many photos showing its detail and condition.

Shows light signs of use, still looking very nice, with the surface remaining shiny. Very simple and intuitive use. Course sets by setting to "Auto" then putting it on the desired compass heading. Adjusts in one or ten degree increments by a quick touch on the keypad.

A quality Marine electrical connector is included for the (very simple) two wire 12 volt power.

Please Note- U.S/ Canada/ Western Europe/ Australia shipping only on this item.

Steers a more ACCURATE course than I ever will. A great SAFETY feature, keeping the boat headed up while working on the Foredeck, or just RELAXING in the Companionway or belowdecks while "Otto" hums away, steering to your next destination. A great way to end the "Tyranny of the Tiller", yet it is offered with a very................Low Starting Bid.

Buy a Renault Laguna – get a free Renault Twizy EV

Thu, 02 Aug 2012

Renault in Spain is offering buyers of the Laguna or Espace a free Twizy EV as new car sales plummet in Spain. Renault has solved the problem of slow selling cars in the UK by simply no longer offering them. Which means the UK no longer gets the Wind Roadster, the Espace, the Modus, the Kangoo and even  the Laguna. But in Spain it’s different, so Renault dealers on the Iberian Peninsula are stuck with having to sell big mainstream cars no one actually wants, plus they have Renault’s obsession with producing daft EVs to contend with too.

Nissan ESFLOW: Electric Sports Car

Wed, 09 Feb 2011

Nissan ESFLOW Electric Sports Car As Tesla has already proved, if you throw enough money at it, employ enough publicists (including self-publicists) and string enough laptop batteries together, you can make an electric sports car. And, because of the lightness of construct and instant torque of an electric motor, you can make it sprint to 60mph in pretty short shrift. Whether, with all the lard that comes with  thousands of laptop batteries, you can make it go round corners properly… Which has obviously inspired Nissan to send the LEAF and the 370Z off to conjugate somewhere suitable, with orders to deliver up the resulting oxymoron – an electric sports car – to the Geneva Motor Show.
