SmallTownSpeed is proud to be the North American dealer for the quality cast aluminum, Australian made, AussieSpeed product line.

This listing is for one Aussie Speed as0189p polished aluminum breather cover with the BIG TAPERED FINS!!! We offer several styles, and this is the one with the most punch! Just look at the pictures with the penny in the fins to show the scale! These fins look awesome, and are tapered to be taller in the center, and to the back(or front, which ever way you wanted to run it). These covers go over generic push in breathers(NOT INCLUDED, but can be purchased from me for an extra $6 each with free shipping, or sourced locally at most auto parts stores for $10-15). Due to slight variations in these generic covers, most will slip right over, but some may require a light press fit, or slight smooth inside. If they slip on easily a dab of epoxy, or other adhesive is used to secure it; but if you are buying the breather and the cover from me I will pre-fit it for free. I can also provide an aluminum ring(we turned down left over parts from a blower snout to fit these) for the inside that can be secured as a flange, allowing you to use these as matching wire bulkhead; or anything else you can think of.

Make sure and check out my other listings for the full Aussie Speed line, and contact me if you don't see an Aussie Speed part your interested in listed. If your interested in a few parts contact me, and Ill make you a package deal to save you a bit of money. Also check out my "SmallTownSpeed" shirts, because I can add one to any order with zero additional shipping costs.

All of the Aussie Speed polished parts are individually hand polished, and they are a good quality polish, but not a full blown show polish, the most notable difference is between the fins which are still raw cast. They still look awesome, but are not a mass produced parts, or full blown show polished parts(a polish job like that would exceed the cost of the cover). I love how they look, and everybody I've shown them to has loved them too; I just mention this so you know exactly what you are getting.

I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, I'm not a big shop, and this is not my only job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because of my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. And the latter should be easy enough to relate to, right? I ALSO SELL PARTS ON FORUMS and LOCALLY, so I reserve the right to END AUCTIONS EARLY. I'm happy to combine shipping when practical, and I'm also happy to make package deals if there are several parts you need. Email is the best way to contact me, but I'm happy to give you a call, or give you my personal cell number if you would rather call me. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK: SMALLTOWNSPEED

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL OF THE PARTS I'M SELLING ARE USED. I guarantee them to fit the bike I took them off of; and any other years on models mentioned are to help people find parts that may work for them, not a guarantee of fitment. I pride myself in good customer service, accurate descriptions, and low prices. There is no feasible way for me to list or confirm every possible fitment while keeping my prices low. If you're not sure, check with your local dealer, or compare part numbers at an online oem supplier like motosport. BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVERY PART I SELL IS SOLD EXACTLY AS PICTURED AND AS-IS. It is also possible that over the life of the bike that I'm parting out, that parts were changed to something other than what was put on at the assembly line. So, where am I going with all of this? I wont stick anybody with parts they don't want or can't use. I accept returns, and my great feedback speaks for itself; seriously, read through some of it.... I treat other riders(that's you) how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when your buying used parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied. I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time. If I'm not achieving that, please let me know how I can improve.

Thanks!

New 2015 Volvo XC90 – first exterior photo

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

The new Volvo XC90 (pictured) arrives in 2 weeks The reveal of the new 2015 Volvo XC90 is only two weeks away – although probably overdue by many years – and Volvo continue to pique our interest with more information on the new XC90. Top of Volvo’s information list this time is their new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) which underpins the new mXC90, but in the process they have revealed the first exterior photo of the new XC90 (although the exterior has already been revealed), although it is only a front-end detail photo. What it does show is the XC90′s new headlights – complete with running lights Volvo has dubbed ‘Thor’s Hammer – which look similar to those found on a number of Volvo’s recent concepts, a much bigger grill than we’re used to seeing on a Volvo and a sculptured bonnet.

Pixar's cars: Studio's car show is one of the best and most exclusive

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

True, there have been company car shows before, but there has never been a company quite like Pixar. Not that we would ever leave the worker's paradise that is AW, but if we did (which we are not--ever), we would work there. Trouble is, you need to have talent.
