Description
ARP manufactures a variety of premium grade bolt and stud kits to facilitate installation of exhaust headers including the popular stainless stud kit with 12-point nuts. The Stainless 300 material is not affected by corrosion or extreme heat, making it ideal for the application. What's more, the compact 12-point nut lets you easily slip a socket close to the pipe. Each ARP accessory stud or bolt kit includes the specific number of parts for your application, plus premium-quality washers and hex or 12-point nuts, as required. Studs are manufactured with a unique nut-starter nose that helps prevent cross-threading. Studs and bolts come either black oxide chrome moly or Stainless 300. Both are nominally rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength substantially stronger than Grade 8 hardware. Specially drilled NASCAR models are available for those who wish to safety wire their header bolts to prevent loosening.Special NASCAR model header bolts are available that are drilled for use of safety wire. Perfect for any racer who desires the ultimate in security. Available for small block and big block Chevrolet engines, plus many universal applications. Once day, we’ll get round this problem of what year t0 allocate to a car. With the facelifted Saab 9-3 going on sale in the UK next month, Saab are referring to it as the 2012 MY Saab 9-3 in this morning’s press release, but it seems unlikely anyone in the UK will do so. In the US, cars going on sale from May are referred to as the following year car, so assuming the new 9-3 goes on sale across the Pond in May it will be the 2012 Saab 9-3.

Volvo C70
Volvo has released pictures of the second-generation C70, to be launched in September at the Frankfurt Motorshow. The new C70 seats four with a two-faced three-stage folding hardtop meaning there will be just one body style: rivals Mercedes CLK and SAAB 9-3 must wait until the next generation before they can claim the same. Designed as a coupe from the outset, the C70 answers the perennial cabriolet problem with an elegant profile, roof up or down.

HIGH-VIS clothing on cyclists does not deter drivers from performing the "most dangerous" overtakes, scientists say. Between 1% and 2% of drivers pass "dangerously close" to cyclists when overtaking, regardless of what they are wearing, a study found. The average gap left by a driver overtaking a cyclist has shrunk over the past few decades from 179cm in 1979 to 118cm in 2013.
