THIS IS A USED ARCTIC CAT 1999 ZR 600 EFI SHORT BLOCK ENGINE.  THIS WILL FIT DIRECTLY FIT THE 1998 or 99 ZR 600 EFI. This was also used on the early 2000 models. This is NON APV.  ARCTIC CAT PART # 0662-128.  NEW RETAIL PRICE OF $4,228.95. THIS ENGINE COMES WITH REED VALVES AND HAS JUST HAD A FRESH REBUILD that has less than 500 miles on it.     Flying car gets regulatory clearance

    The Jetsons' futuristic vision of a flying car is one step closer to becoming a reality. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts company developing a "roadable aircraft" named the Transition, just received special exemptions from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that will help it move the vehicle move forward to production. NHTSA will allow the Transition to be outfitted with plastic windows rather than standard automotive safety glass.

    An anonymous reader passed along this short video of a heavily camouflaged Alfa Romeo 4C testing in Michigan this morning. Hopefully it was a passenger doing the filming. The 4C is scheduled to begin production at Maserati's Modena facility this spring.

    House narrowly passes scaled-back 'cash-for-clunkers' bill

    The U.S. House on Tuesday narrowly passed a scaled-back version of a bill that would give consumers cash vouchers of between $3,500 and $4,500 if they trade in their cars for newer, more fuel-efficient vehicles. The $1 billion cash-for-guzzlers proposal, modeled after successful programs in Germany and other European countries, is part of a $106 billion supplemental spending measure designed mostly to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
