EXTREMELY warm snowmobile jacket made by Arctic Cat in Arctic Cat green with reflective stripes on the front and back of jacket.  Has zip in and zip out liners, zippered air vents to help air flow through the jacket on warmer days and is wind and moisture resistant.  I have used this coat in sub 10 degree weather for long rides and have NEVER been cold.  This coat is in good to very condition with the only minus point being a little, very little, staining on the very front of the jacket from where my chest would rub up against the sled, trailer and truck while unloading and loading the sled.  Hardly noticeable and ZERO impact on the effectiveness and performance of the jacket.  GREAT buy on a GREAT sled coat.  I don't sled any longer, so my loss is your gain.  Hurry up and buy as a gift for the upcoming holidays.  Jacket was well over $200 new three years ago and has probably been worn a total of 10 to 15 times.

The guide will be made available from October 4 as a book, for £15.99, and an Apple app for £5.99, giving drivers fingertip access to every Michelin-awarded restaurant, which in turn could make every long-distance drive a new culinary adventure. Michelin first founded the guide in its native France, where at the time the motor industry was more widespread than anywhere else in the world.

Whos Where: David Wilkie joins Mindset

Tue, 30 Sep 2008

Design Director, David Wilkie, announced last week that he is leaving Bertone to take up a full time position at Mindset AG. Mindset is a new company run by Murat Günak, previously head of Design at Volkswagen, that is developing the electric ‘Commuter' car previewed by Car Design News in February this year. Car Design News spoke with Wilkie about the move, who explained that he'd been working for Mindset part time, leading the design of the Commuter interior for several months now, but "I decided that for the good of Bertone, and for Mindset, that I needed to commit full time to one position; and the appeal of having my hands-on as a designer was very strong; and it's a project I really want to see through properly!" Wilkie is still committed to carrying through several projects at Bertone over the next few weeks as he makes the transition to working with Günak with whom he studied at the Royal College of Art.
