Honda Civic Tourer stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Tue, 10 Sep 2013It’s been a long time coming, but the production-ready Honda Civic Tourer has finally broken cover, here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Offering decent efficiency (probably) with masses of space and practicality (definitely), as well as what Honda is claiming will be a “class-competitive” price, this family-focused compact estate car seems to tick all the boxes. Mercedes' production Bluetec diesel SUVs
Thu, 13 Mar 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 13 March 2008 17:14 Europe loves diesel, America doesn’t, so welcome to the US-only Mercedes Bluetec SUVs. The R, ML and GL 320 Bluetec diesels will be launched in America in autumn 2008, but won’t be coming to Europe yet. The three SUVs, which Mercedes claims come with the world’s latest and cleanest diesel engine, may not even make it to the UK. All three come with a 3.0-litre diesel engine that has revised piston crowns, a lower compression ratio, and a new turbocharger and ECU.
Ford Edge stars at 2013 LA Motor Show
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Unveiled to same fanfare at the LA Motor Show, the Ford Edge Concept gives us more than a hint as to what Ford’s new full-size SUV will look like. It’s part of Ford’s bold plan to build ‘world cars’ that suit every market, not just supersized Americans. Based on the Mondeo, it will sit above the Kuga in Ford’s line-up and we reckon a European version could be launched as early as next year.
