These Altronics PerformAIRE Eclipse weather stations can measure the density of air in the atmosphere. These PerformAIRE computers contain a database that stores runs and then uses this data to automatically predict ETs and throttle stop settings. The predicted values are continually updated with each new sample of air, and the density altitude will be stored with each run. The stored runs are also tagged with a time and date stamp to allow for later referencing. The expandable database is capable of storing hundreds of runs in separate databases, which can be labeled for specific cars or tracks.  this is a very nice used unit at a very reasonable price to what they cost new, was used for 3 racing seasons, I sold everything and got out of racing...

Drink-drive Idowu 'fled home row'

FORMER OLYMPIC triple jumper Phillips Idowu, from Essex, was caught drink driving after police were called to a domestic incident at his home. The 34-year-old, from Epping, pleaded guilty to driving his white Land Rover in the town's Bridge Hill after a night out while two and a half times the legal alcohol limit. Speaking after the case at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court, Essex Police confirmed that they had stopped Idowu as he fled a disturbance at his house.
