The Ferrari 458 Italia is one of the most impressive road-going cars ever designed. With its lightweight construction, technical innovations, and 570 hp 4.5-liter engine, it’s a memorable driving experience. Add our titanium Slip-On performance exhaust system for even more power, reduced weight, and an enhanced sporty sound. Our Slip-On features dualmode exhaust valves and a triple exit system that delivers crisp but subdued sound at low rpm, but at higher rpm it fully unleashes an incredible deep sporty sound from the F1-inspired, high-revving V8. Complete the look with a set of three exquisite carbon fibre tailpipes. Further tuning opportunities and even more aggressive sound are available with our titanium link pipe set with high-flow catalytic converters. When installing Akrapovič aftermarket optional down pipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, remapping the ECU is mandatory. When installing Akrapovič aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for use on closed tracks, we recommend remapping the ECU in order to prevent potential »check engine light« warning signals. It’s a clever system that uses hidden sensors to track the car’s movements and helps the police find your car when it’s been stolen. And it’s a good business for Tracker, who have demonstrated the recovery rate of stolen vehicles is far higher when their system is fitted which means a ready market when insurance companies insist it’s fitted to high value cars.
Jaguar F-Type Coupe pictures were actually the CX-16
Thu, 09 May 2013In fact, the photos we published turn out to be images Jaguar submitted to the European Patent office when the CX-16 Concept – the first view we had of the new F-Type – was being readied for its debut in 2011. Oh, well. But despite the images we ran turning out to be a bit of a red herring, there’s no doubt Jaguar will reveal an F-Type Coupe before too long, but not necessarily as soon as the ‘production’ patent images led us to think.
