Offered for sale is the OEM choke / starter cable (part # listed above if available) removed from an 02 Ninja 500 with only 876 miles on it. THE GAUGES ARE ALSO BEING LISTED AT THE TIME OF SALE AND CAN BE VIEWED TO CONFIRM THE MILEAGE. This part is in good used condition with normal wear and tear (ie. small nicks, scratches, scuffs, weathering, etc.) and the only blemish is a slight indentation in the exterior sheathing from contact which will hurt nothing as shown in the pictures. This is a solid part that should provide a near new condition since the bike only had 876 miles on it. This part should fit all 94 - 09 Kawasaki Ninja 500's and may fit other years and models as well but as always check with your mechanic or dealer to assure correct fit and application. No additional parts or mounting hardware are included. GM Europe's location in Russelsheim, Germany is also one of the less glamourous locations but the new design center building opened this week aims to redress the otherwise rather industrial feel of the place where tomorrow's Opels and Saabs are created.
Fewer people being killed in car-truck collisions, study finds
Wed, 28 Sep 2011Death rates in crashes between big trucks and cars dropped 64 percent in 2008-09 compared with 2000-01, according to an insurance-industry study of government data. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety cited changes in vehicle design, particularly for SUVs and pickups, as a key factor in the decline. The number of deaths for car and minivan passengers involved in crashes with larger vehicles fell from 44 per million in 2000-01 to 16 deaths per million in 2008-09, the study found.
