here is a gsr main girdle with 3 caps as shown removed from a 98 gsr motor that had #4 rod broken off. rod very slightly caught edge of aluminum girdle as shown. will not effect performance. please remember that when changing main caps, block must be machined to match the new caps or failure will occur.
