Report: Chrysler Sebring to be renamed Nassau

The Chrysler Sebring will reportedly get a new name later this year: Nassau. The midsize sedan is due for a freshening, including an updated interior, along with its Dodge sibling, the Avenger. The Detroit Free Press, citing anonymous sources, says the new name will be Nassau.

Lexus hybrid concept to bow at Frankfurt

Lexus is finally jumping into the premium-compact segment in Europe with an eye-catching hybrid concept that will bow at the Frankfurt motor show. "The soul of our designing is in Italy," said Silvio Petro Angori, CEO of Italian design house Pininfarina S.p.A. "We will do all styling in Italy – we will not do that in China." But in order to cater to the growing number of contracts from Chinese automakers, Pininfarina will soon begin engineering and product development in China with a center in Shanghai's suburb of Anting. Pininfarina has been working with Chinese automakers since 1996.
