 The extension tubes need to be installed for the tubing nuts on the AIR pipe assemblies to seal properly. No sealing is provided by the NSPT threads. The sealing is produced by the seating of the tubing nut against the face of the extension flare.

(1) 3" long A.I.R. Extension Tube for 1966 - 1979 SBC Chevrolet Corvette 3877484 (one tube only)

A few scuffs from storage but nothing to affect its functionality in any way. Please check pictures.

Range Rover Hybrids press ahead on Silk Trail route to Mumbai

A trio of Range Rover Hybrid prototypes is well on its way to India on a 9,950-mile endurance drive through 12 countries. Land Rover is following the old Silk Trail to the east, but while it took ancient merchants months to complete the route, the Land Rover Hybrid team will be doing it in just 53 days. The Silk Trail is a historical network of trade routes which connected Asia with Europe and the Mediterranean, and got its name from the Chinese silk which was a lucrative trade item well into the 14th century.

Mike O'Driscoll, the managing director at Jaguar Cars, has announced his plan to retire at the end of March 2011. O'Driscoll, 54, moved to the United Kingdom to lead the company's brand after Ford announced its plan to sell Jaguar and Land Rover. While there, he managed the introduction of the XF, the XK, and the XJ.
