Removed running from a 2014 Switchback Assault. The sled had a front end collision and suffered bulkhead damage and is being parted out. 125 PSI of compression on each cylinder. When I picked the machine from the compound it was at, the guy working there told me he knew the owner. Says he just had the engine rebuilt and only put a few miles on it before he wrecked it. I can’t confirm that that is was rebuilt or not. But, It did have a half a tank of fuel that was mixed with oil(common practice after a rebuild). The cylinders appear to be new (no oxidization on it) compared to the cases and head. Looks like a new OEM cylinder, and still has the OEM sticker on it with the part no. and 2D bar code. Comes exactly as shown in the pictures. Cylinder walls are minty with pronounced cross hatching when looking through the exhaust ports. Has the “Type 2” crankshaft in it. 3057 miles on the sled at the time of removal. Alarming number of drivers lack road sign knowledge
Thu, 08 May 2014A THIRD OF DRIVERS in the UK do not know even the most basic road signs such as the National Speed Limit and Slippery Road warnings. This is the finding of a survey by More Than, which found that 34% of drivers in the UK did not know what the National Speed Limit sign was. The Slippery Road sign was misunderstood by one in seven drivers as meaning ‘paint on the road.’ With research conducted alongside 29 police forces, the survey found 20% of UK drivers had received penalty points for speeding in the past 10 years.
