Volvo to unveil new SUV tomorrow [w/video]
Thu, 16 May 2013Volvo will premiere a mystery new vehicle tomorrow after releasing a series of three teaser videos. The highly ambiguous videos, which give few details of the car, all feature members of the band Swedish House Mafia, which end with the words "Leave The World Behind" and the date of its official debut. You can catch sight of the vehicle in the distance during the second video (left), however, which looks to be the rumoured XC40 compact crossover, rather than the larger XC90 SUV.

While filming for the show’s Top Gear Christmas DVD – called ‘The Perfect Road Trip’ – Clarkson and Hammond were allegedly caught travelling at over 87mph in a 56mph limit. New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?

The 3.6 litre TDV8 which goes in the Land Rover is a very good lump (made by Ford at Dagenham) with some decent horses and a nice fat lump of torque. But the introduction by Jaguar of the 3.0 litre diesel and its subsequent introduction in to Land Rover’s cars meant the 3.6 litre’s days were numbered.
