First details of 2013 Skoda Octavia emerge

More details and images of the 2013 Skoda Octavia have been revealed ahead of its official announcement. The C-segment Octavia will be the fourth model to sit on the MQB platform after the Volkswagen Golf Mk7, Seat Leon and Audi A3. Daniel Simon creates livery for HRT Formula 1 car

Visual artist and automotive futurist Daniel Simon has created a striking red and white livery for Hispania Racing's new Formula One car. Called the F111, the new racecar has been developed by the outfit's own engineering and design team, which is led by technical director Geoff Willis and chief designer Paul White. Simon's eye-catching work demonstrates the ambition of the team this season.

London cabs voted 'world's best'

LONDON has been voted the world's favourite city for taxis, as long as cabbies do not take "the scenic route". The capital topped a global list in five out of seven categories in a Hotels.com survey involving more than 2,600 respondents from 30 countries. The overall result meant London taxis were considered the world's best ahead of second-placed New York, with Tokyo third and Berlin fourth.
