*Please read entire description before bidding* I have for auction a 2001 Mercury 200hp Optimax outboard motor with a 25" leg. The motor has just under 800 hours. The motor ran good until a week ago and then the fuel pump went on it. I took it to a mercury dealer and that is what they said it needs. Over the past year I have replaced the alternator, starter and one injector. I have always had the motor serviced as scheduled with a mercury dealer. Also, when I removed the motor I noticed  the steering was a little stiff, but it is not noticed when the steering is connected. Overall the motor is in great condition and does run very well. This auction is for the motor only. It does not come with prop, harness or controls. Decals on motor say 225 as I replaced them a few years ago with discounted stickers directly from mercury. Motor has always had synthetic oil. All cylinders have good compression. Trim works perfect and motor shifts as it should. Only selling to go new four stroke. I am willing to ship to the lower 48 states, but buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. The motor is loaded on an outboard shipping skid. Motor comes with oil tank. There is no warranty for the motor and it is sold as is. Thanks for looking.

Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV (2009) unveiled

Thu, 01 Oct 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 01 October 2009 15:20 This is the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV, the Japanese car company’s star attraction at this month’s 2009 Tokyo motor show. The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.

New SEAT Leon goes in to production

Sun, 28 Oct 2012

The new SEAT Leon (2013) – revealed at the Paris Motor Show – has started production in Spain ahead of first deliveries in March 2013. SEAT has invested heavily in the Martorell plant in recent years – a shining light of success in a sea of Spanish manufacturing despair – with a £650 million investment in new facilities and R&D making Martorell a modern and efficient facility for the new Leon as well as the Ibiza, Altea and Exeo (and the Audi Q3). Not only has the investment in Martorell secured the jobs of 1600 Spanish workers (and four times as many in the supply chain), it promise more jobs too if the Leon turns out to be as appealing as it looks.

Dacia Duster SUV leads Dacia in to record-breaking first year UK sales

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The new Dacia Duster (pictured) should add to Dacia’s impressive sales We’ve all become aware that the car market in the UK has polarised, with mainstream makers struggling to keep their market share and premium and budget brands growing sales strongly. But despite that, no one really thought that Dacia – Renault’s budget brand – could create a significant market for itself with its “Shockingly Affordable” range of cars. But it has.
