I will be out of town starting Friday, August 12 @ 15:00 through Tuesday, August 16. Any items purchased during this time will ship out on Wednesday, August 17th.

This is the recoil starter from a 1997 Polaris Xplorer 400L 4x4. It is in good usable condition. The only flaw I have found with it is the little bushing where the starter bendix shaft sits in has some material missing as shown. I have found this to be a common occurrence with Polaris ATVs. I do not believe it to be a major issue. Rope and case in good shape otherwise. It is missing the plug at the top. May fit other years and models such as Sportsman, Trail Blazer, Scrambler, Magnum, Sportsman, Express, 250, 300, 400, 500. Please check fitment with your dealer before ordering.

Please no international bidders. This item is being sold AS IS NO WARRANTY.

Items generally ship out the next day.

I will leave positive feedback when I receive positive feedback from you.

Buyers with under 25 feedback please contact me before ordering.

Returns accepted within 14 days of auction end. Buyer pays return shipping.

Any inquiries please contact me via ebay.

Study: Hybrids safer in accidents, more dangerous to pedestrians

In the first analysis of its kind, the Highway Loss Data Institute found that drivers of hybrid vehicles are, on average, 25 percent less likely to be injured in a crash than drivers of conventional vehicles. Matt Moore, the data institute's vice president and author of the study, said weight was a big factor in its analysis. “Hybrids on average are 10 percent heavier than their standard counterparts,” Moore said in a statement on Thursday.

Time-capsule DeLorean with only 309 miles emerges

Wed, 26 Mar 2014

We see time-capsule cars on a pretty regular basis, but they seldom happen to be proper time-travel cars as well. Of course we're talking about the DeLorean DMC-12, an automobile whose several thousand examples were believed to be largely accounted for. So imagine our surprise when we heard about a DeLorean recently found in a storage bay with delivery mileage on the clock and a mild layer of dust on its stainless-steel body.
