1973 - 1978 GMC MOTORMOME Cable, park brake front tandem. Golby brake cables are engineered for durability, reliability and easy installation. Wire end fittings are machined to fit with other parking brake related parts. Weatherized housing end fittings snap firmly into backing plate assemblies. Manufactured to perform during long-term exposure in multiple environments. Cables coated in tough nylon casing that is wiped clean by integrated wipers built into the conduit end fittings. Conduit made of flexible steel wire enclosed in a polyethylene covering. Rubber bumpers and grommets added to protect casing from rub areas where casing makes contact with the vehicle's metal parts. We recommend replacing the cables at the wheels as a set due to the fact that they work so much smoother than the originals.

Fri, 23 Apr 2010Session 5: Color and Trim On the second day of the conference, Andreas Wlasak, Vice President of Industrial Design at Faurecia, opened proceedings by announcing that the company plans to open a design studio in Shanghai this year. "A design centre in Shanghai – a new place in China for 2010 – this is a commitment," he declared. Wlasak then asked what OEMs should look for in terms of visualizing the concept of ‘green' design inside the vehicle interior: "OEMs might look for 'visual' green – how can you make it visible that the vehicle is efficient and reducing CO2?" He believed real wood is one likely way of achieving this, as people want to feel natural surfaces, and he also envisaged translucent surfaces playing a key role in years to come.

Hongik University wins 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest
Tue, 19 Jul 2011Seoul's Hongik University scooped first place honors in the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest. 50 highly prestigious universities developed designs for Ferrari's cars of the future, and students from the Korean school beat the second-placed Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) of Turin, Italy, in the final while London's Royal College of Arts (RCA) finished in third place. The ‘Eternità', developed by Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahngseok, was the winning design for Hongik University, while Azerbaijan's Samir Sadikhov, studying at IED, earned him second place with the ‘Xezri'.
