This motor does need some love the shift shaft is wore I did get it to go through all the gears  but the shift shaft may need to be replaced. There is jb weld on the bottom around the drain plug but it does not leak. This would be a great start to your restoration.  what you see in the pics it what you get. No carb / kick starter / shift lever /

In truth the coupe version looked a lot better than it drove but, being an Alfa, its looks redeemed it. And the 8C Spider is a cracking looking car.
