Volkswagen at the Paris motor show 2008

Thu, 02 Oct 2008

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 02 October 2008 10:16 Volkswagen is calling it a concept, but its new Golf GTI study is pretty much the real thing. Rhys Millen loses brakes, takes second place at Pikes Peak

Thu, 30 Jun 2011

Rhys Millen, nephew of parts guru Steve Millen, didn't break Nobuhiro Tajima's world record at the 89th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb--Tajima did that himself. That time was made even more impressive by the fact that Millen lost brake power in the last few miles before reaching the peak.

It's the first car to do so since the marque’s collapse in 2011.
