1966 Jeep J1000 & Gladiator J2000 327c.i. Distributor on 2040-parts.com
Lorena, Texas, United States
This is a 1966 Jeep J-1000 & Gladiator J-2000 327ci distributor. It will also fit the Rambler Classic,Rebel, and Ambassador. It is in beautiful shape and moves freely. I happened upon a long-forgotten treasure trove of point type GM distributors at a wrecking yard that had them stored inside and had them sorted. They were all pull-offs and may or may not still run. I am starting the bid at half of what they normally go for on Ebay, so get it while you can.
Please check out my other auctions for more hi-performance vintage and rebuilt carburetors, fuel injection, and distribuors. |

Mazda Hakaze concept: first official pictures
Mon, 05 Feb 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 05 February 2007 12:02 Mazda Hakaze: the lowdown Mazda claims to have reinvented the 4x4 with this new banana-coloured Hakaze concept at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It's a crossover with a twist, mixing the best bits of coupes, roadsters and SUVs, apparently. It's also, worryingly, designed to appeal to a very definite demographic: kite surfers aged between 30 and 40.
Meet the 214-mpg Volkswagen Twin-Up concept
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Ahead of a Tokyo motor show debut, VW is showing off the Twin-Up concept. Essentially an advanced version of the company's entry-level Up supermini, the Twin-Up runs a modified version of the plug-in diesel-electric hybrid driveline used in the high-tech XL1 for spectacular claimed combined consumption of 214 mpg on the Euro combined cycle along with a zero-emissions electric range of 31 miles. The Twin-Up name alludes to the new car's twin drive sources.
