For sale is a 1965 Volkswagen Training Manual direct from the factory. It is Series No. 25 in a series of over 35 training manuals. This manual is entitled Maintenance Service Type 1. This manual was used as a training tool for mechanics, repairmen, used in the brainstorming room, and placed in VW dealerships. This is a vintage piece of car manufacture history. Toyota shelves A-BAT pickup concept
Mon, 20 Apr 2009Toyota won't build the small, ultramodern A-BAT hybrid pickup concept that was a head-turner at the 2008 Detroit auto show and looked like a good bet for production. "We have a lot of top priorities, and A-BAT is not one of them right now," Bob Carter, Toyota Division's general manager, told the Web site PickupTrucks.com. "It's on the shelf." A Toyota official confirmed Carter's comments.

Chevrolet six-month global sales highest in a century
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Chevrolet saw 2.35 million global sales in the first six months of 2011--its best first-half mark in 100 years. The automaker credits the success of new small-car models for much of the growth, namely the Cruze compact, the Spark minicar, the Aveo/Sonic small car and the Orlando MPV. Chevrolet sales increased 14 percent in the United States from the same half-year period in 2010, with 286,499 more units sold.
