Ford Evos concept
Wed, 31 Aug 2011Ford's new Evos concept will make its global debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, showcasing the manufacturer's new One Ford design direction as well as exploring future powertrain and vehicle technologies. The four-door, four-seat fastback concept with a lithium-ion plug-in hybrid powertrain, is designed to engage the driver as much as possible through the use of infotainment and wireless technology. Although the car will never be seen on the roads, Ford has claimed that it contains many of the features that will be in use within future Ford production models.

And with the A45 AMG heading towards Mercedes showrooms soon, MB are bust promoting their new hot hatch, and what better way to do that than rope in your own highly paid F1 drivers to add a bit of performance gloss? So Mercedes has put Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel of an A45, Nico Rosberg in the passenger seat and a ‘Good Fairy’ in the road to sort out arguments about who should get to drive.
Concept Car of the Week: Matra Laser (1971)

In the mid ‘60s, under Jean-Luc Lagardere's ambitious direction, the company bought Automobiles Rene Bonnet to expand its portfolio with street and racing cars. The first model solely developed by Matra was the bonkers, but brilliant, 1967 M530, which took its name from the company's surface-to-air missile the R530.
