This is the heater blower motor from a 1958 Cadillac. This will fit all 1957 & 1958 Cadillac's, including Eldorado's, except Brougham, but please verify that it is correct for your application before buying it. This mounts in the engine bay, on the drivers side of the car. It does have some surface rust, and needs to be sand blasted and painted to look nice again. Unfortunately the motor on this one is not working. It is not seized, it does turn but does not work when bench tested. It is complete and not in too bad shape overall but the motor will need to be rebuilt or replaced on it. Call to cut school run car journeys

A 10% CUT in school run car journeys would boost Britain's economy by around £46 million a year, a sustainable transport charity has claimed. Sustrans, which is calling on the Government to formally recognise the right of every child to be able to walk or cycle to school safely, estimates that ferrying children to school by car accounts for 24% of peak time traffic. Using Department for Transport modelling to calculate the financial drain on business caused by rush-hour congestion, Sustrans estimated that a 14% reduction in car use for school runs would take 167,000 vehicles off the road with an annual "saving" of £66.2 million.

GM scraps plan for unibody pickup

General Motors Co. has dropped plans to develop a unibody pickup similar to the Honda Ridgeline, the automaker's top product development executive said. As gasoline prices rose and pickup sales fell, GM sought an alternative to the standard body-on-frame pickup.

The peak torque figure and the four-wheel drive system remain unchanged, so the 0-62mph sprint time remains pegged at (a hardly lethargic) 3.4 seconds, but the top speed is up a few units to 205mph.
