Here we have a NEW 1955-57 FORD THUNDERBIRD AND 55-56 FORD PASSENGER CAR POWER STEERING PUMP MOUNTING & ADJUSTING PLATE. This is the Flat plate that mounts directly to the Power Steering pump, to-which the cast mounting bracket attaches. This plate has the slotted hole which allows for the P.S. pump V-belt adjustment. The Second & Third photos are for reference only and show this bracket along with the cast mounting bracket: only this flat plate is included in this ebay listing. I do have the cast bracket listed on another of my ebay listings. I have many used, rebuilt and new Power Steering Parts in my 40+ year collection. Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV is the new Mercedes ML Coupe (MLC)
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The Mercedes Coupe Concept SUV (pictured) will debut in Beijing Cars UK reported back in 2011 that a Mercedes ML Coupe (perhaps the Mercedes MLC) was in the planning to take on the BMW X6, and Mercedes confirmed as much when they revealed will build a fifth model at its US plant in Alabama. Mercedes plan to start building their fifth model in Alabama in 2015, and today’s reveal of the Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV – which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show – is the first public step on the way to a coupe version of the M-Class – and the battle to steal sales from the BMW X6. Mercedes aren’t saying much about the Concept Coupe SUV, but they do say it’s a sportily-styled coupe SUV and provide a first look at a series production car expected next year.
Nissan developing the self-cleaning car
Fri, 25 Apr 2014Motorists may never need to wash their cars again, as Nissan is helping to develop paint that repels mud, rain and dirt. The technology, which Nissan tells us is “super-hyrophobic and oleophobic”, creates a protective layer of air between the paint and the environment, preventing dirt sticking to the car. Nissan Nissan Note already uses self-cleaning technology Called Ultra-Ever Dry, the tech is currently being tested on the Nissan Note, which already features a ‘wash and blow dry’ function on its rear view camera.
