I found this gem at an estate sale of a retired ships captain who no longer wanted to keep it. He told me that it was off a German naval Ship but could not remember the name. It's dated to the early 1950's and is highly accurate as I tested North with a couple of other compasses that I had laying around. The thing weighs over 22 pounds alone and with packing it should go at 25+ pounds. Solid brass circling the dial face and normal scraping to the body. Comes with a canopy cover [ I guess for night time ] and priced 2 sell. Thanks for viewing and good luck. P.S. shipping will be charged a flat rate of $75.00 based on the weight and includes insurance.

VW Polo facelift (2014) first official pictures

At least the new Polo brings some welcome changes under that barely-changed sheetmetal.

Richard Petty Driving Experience says you can skip the clutch pedal

With manual transmissions being phased out of everything from Fords to Ferraris, it's no surprise that beginning on Thursday, the Richard Petty Driving Experience will no longer require the use of a clutch pedal to learn how to drive a stock car. With the company's "Can't Drive a Manual? No Problem" campaign, the driving school will allow students to get behind the wheel of a stocker and be push-started so no shifting will be required.
