This is an NORS set of 12 rear leaf spring insert pads or spring insert silencers or anti-squeak pads. These pads were used between the rear leaf springs at both ends on GM
vehicles form the 1950's, including the 1954 Chevrolet. These pads are the original type made of a woven cotton material with wax which stops the rear leaf springs from squeaking. Perfect for a concours restoration or for a high end quality driver. Don't get caught on car hire 'slippery slope'

But experts are warning that skiers who make their own way to the slopes this winter, instead of buying a package with transfers included, could be hit by hefty charges for car hire at the airport. According to iCarhireinsurance.com, a specialist insurer, some skiers hiring cars for New Year breaks could pay for their hire car twice over because of added 'extras'.
Pininfarina design celebrated in London exhibition
Mon, 11 Jun 2012The work of Italian design house Pininfarina will be celebrated in a dedicated exhibition as part of the International Architecture and Design Showcase, set to take place during the 2012 London Olympics. From 22 June to 15 July the ‘Pininfarina in London' exhibition will display the most prestigious products made in Italy including a Ferrari FF and a Maserati GranTurismo during the inauguration. Four sculptures in cedar wood – made by Riva 1920 – represent four Pininfarina design icons: the Cisitalia of 1947, the Dino of 1967, the Birdcage 75th of 2005 and the Cambiano, the concept car launched by Pininfarina in Geneva this year.
