This is an NOS mounting bracket for a Unity spotlight, Unity #31-L with the bracket to body gasket and chrome mounting screws. This bracket is for the LH side (driver's side) on all 1950 and 1951 Cadillacs; 1949 thru 1951 Pontiac Catalina and convertible; 1949 thru 1951 Chevrolet BelAir and convertibles; 1949 thru 1951 Oldsmobile series 60, 70 and 80 Holiday and convertibles. This bracket is NOS with the chrome set screw. It has never been installed but has some slight shelf wear from being out of the factory box. The bracket # "31-L" is raised in the underside base of the casting. Perfect for adding a Unity spotlight to your Cadillac, Pontiac, Chevy or Olds. Hongik University wins 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest
Tue, 19 Jul 2011Seoul's Hongik University scooped first place honors in the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest. 50 highly prestigious universities developed designs for Ferrari's cars of the future, and students from the Korean school beat the second-placed Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) of Turin, Italy, in the final while London's Royal College of Arts (RCA) finished in third place. The ‘Eternità', developed by Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahngseok, was the winning design for Hongik University, while Azerbaijan's Samir Sadikhov, studying at IED, earned him second place with the ‘Xezri'.
Foreign language theory test scrapped
Mon, 07 Apr 2014FROM TODAY the driving test in the UK must be taken in English or Welsh, after long-standing rules permitting foreign language speakers to sit the test were removed. Theory tests have previously been available with voiceovers in 19 foreign languages and candidates could use an interpreter on both the theory and practical driving tests. But changes that come into effect today were introduced after a consultation showed more than 70% supported the withdrawal of foreign language voiceovers and interpreters.
