Luxgen Luxgen7 MPV

Luxgen, Taiwan's first automotive brand, has revealed its first vehicle: the Luxgen7 MPV. With a more curvaceous aesthetic than what is typical of family haulers, the Luxgen7 MPV also features a high level of functionality across three rows of seats. Created under the direction of James Shyr, former Director of Design of GM's Global Design Leadership Team at PATAC, the new MPV has been specifically created not to look like a box.

It looks like the baby Boxster - the Porsche BlueSport - is in the planning. Last year it was a case of ‘Spot the BlueSport’ as rumours ran wild over which parts of the VW Group (what happened to re-naming it Auto Union – another of last year’s rumours?) would run with the ‘Baby Roadster’ platform VW had developed. Cosworth promise power upgrades for the FA 20 engine Ever since the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ arrived as ‘affordable’ sports cars with a focus on the dynamics rather than outright power, there’s been endless claims and rumours that more power is on the way. As far back as 2011, Subaru in the US confirmed that a turbo version of the BRZ’s 2.0 litre FA20 Boxer engine was under development although, to be fair, they didn’t say it was actually heading for the BRZ. And just last year, Subaru teased what we thought could be a more powerful BRZ STI, but that turned out to be a BRZ tS with go faster bits but no more actual power.
